BISER representatives in EUSBSR HA Capacity working group

BISER representatives were invited to join working groups established by HA Capacity to build capacity among existing and potential stakeholders of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). Phd Magda Leszczyna-Rzucidło participated in a meeting in Warsaw on 24th Feb , where she became part of one of the four working groups summoned during the early months of 2016 to help further develop capacity building programmes directed towards Local- and regional authorities / NGO / Business / Academia. The background to this invitation was the mission of HA Capacity to build capacity among existing and potential stakeholders of the EU Strategy of the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). Part of this work programme includes developing a platform for capacity building targeting four specific groups of implementing stakeholders. The platform, once operational, will provide training programmes for these implementing stakeholders. The aim of each of the working groups is to provide input to further develop the needs analysis and  pilot programmes (to be launched in 2016/2017). BISER expected contribution to this work involves sharing best practice, valuable experience and insights from fulfilling the tasks mandated by the EUSBSR and its Action Plan. Next meeting is planned in April in Riga.
