Between 13-15th April Magda Leszczyna-Rzucidło participated in the UBC Youthfull Cities Commission meeting in Turku, Finland, where she met with the Commission representatives and discussed with them possibilities of Future cooperation on the BYSED main project concept or other projects on youth entrepreneurship. The main topic was the youth leisure time defined by YCC as one of the instruments that prevent social and economic exclusion.
The invitation for the Commission meeting was the outcome of the BISER representatives meeting with the UBC Secretary General – Mr Paweł Żaboklicki, who has his office in Gdańsk. We discussed with him the possible joint activities between BISER and the UBC, mostly in connection to the joint youth activities. During the Turku meeting Magda presented the BYSED project idea, partners and planned activities towards the main project idea. During the discussion participants informed about the youth activities happening in their regions, for instance there was an interesting discussion on summer work trainings in Vaxjo community in Sweden.
