On 18th March BISER representatives met with the Union of the Baltic Cities Secretary-General – Mr. Paweł Żaboklicki and discussed the possibilities for the cooperation between BISER and the UBC on the realization of the project ““BSR social entrepreneurship development BYSED” part-financed by the Seed Money Facility Interreg Baltic Sea Region 2014-2020 Programme.
They presented the project idea and the planned activities and talked about the possibilities of joint operations with the UBC. Paweł Żaboklicki suggested three meetings with the UBC representatives: meeting with the UBC Youthful Cities Commission in Turku in April, meeting with the UBC SMART Cities Commission in Copenhagen in May and contacting Matti Makela, head of the UBC Task Force on Youth Unemployment and Well-Being, who also undertakes activities in social entrepreneurship area.
