On 18th March representatives of BISER met with Barbara Mejsner and Magdalena Skiba from the Gdansk City Council, who are our partners in the ““BSR social entrepreneurship development BYSED” project, part-financed by the Seed Money Facility. We jointly discussed the planned activities in the project and the possibilities of engaging other city actors and NGO representatives on our project. Prof. Toczyski from BISER explained in details what are the expected outcomes of the project research on youth social entrepreneurship in our region, and we all discussed how Gdansk City Council partners could contribute to the study. We also talked about the public consultations we will organize with the local stakeholders in late spring and autumn, where we will invite representatives of the local NGO’s, academia, high schools and other. Gdansk City Council representatives will help BISER to co-organize each event. We also discussed the regional consultations we could organize during the upcoming Baltic Sea NGO Forum, that will happen in June in Gdansk. This could be great opportunity to meet with all our project partners and discuss the youth social entrepreneurship issues with broader public and actors from all the BSR countries.
